Ketchup & Mustard Theory

If you've never heard of this "theory" before I assure you that you are very familiar with it. Basically it relates to the psychology of color and how particular colors cause certain reactions instantaneously. With the K&M theory it is said that the color red sparks our appetite and the color yellow produces happiness and anticipation or excitement. Hence the prolific use of these two colors in the advertising of popular fast-food restaurants such as the obvious McDonalds, Burger King, In-N-Out Burger etc. With this in mind I painted this chunky little guy who clearly is in desperate need of some hot fries and a Quarter Pounder! :)
